Renegade Artists- the birth of an installation
There’s going to be an art show next month, called the Renegade Artists. It will be May 10th from 6-10pm at the Skyline Warehouse off of Hwy 6 and 50 here in Grand Junction. There will be anywhere from 100-150 artists participating in this one night event. I will be collaborating with artist Caole Lowry and poet Suzanne Bronson among others creating an interactive installation. We are all very excited to be a part of this fabulous art event and will bring you more information as it develops.
The organizers of Renegade, a multi-media art exhibit, have put out a call for artists for the event.
Painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking, performance art, poetry — all genres — are welcome.
Renegade will be from 6-10 p.m. on May 10 at the Skyline Warehouse, 2522 U.S. Highway 6&50, near Sam’s Club. A disc jockey will spin music for the event.
Cost to exhibit is $15 and artists can put up as much artwork as they want. The event itself is free and open to the public.
Those interested in entering their work in the show can call 274-2453 or 433-2877.
